Some of the most important work begins before there is a project.
Insight TVET actively seeks relationships with people and organisations interested in strengthening vocational education, workforce development and the systems that support them.
We believe meaningful change is more likely when governments, institutions, industry, researchers, educators and communities have opportunities to think and work together — particularly across the boundaries that too often separate them.
Ways we can work together
Collaboration might include:
Joint initiatives — developing projects, pilots or new approaches around a shared challenge or opportunity.
Research and thought partnerships — investigating emerging questions, developing ideas and contributing to sector debate.
International collaboration — connecting organisations and expertise across countries and vocational systems.
Industry and institutional partnerships — creating stronger connections between vocational institutions, employers, professional bodies and communities.
Coalition building — bringing together organisations with complementary expertise or a shared interest in system improvement.
Experimentation and demonstration — creating spaces in which promising ideas can be developed, tested and shared.
Not every collaboration needs to begin with a contract or a predetermined outcome.
Sometimes the most valuable starting point is simply recognising a shared question worth exploring.

Ideas & Exchange
A consultancy should contribute to the community it seeks to influence.
Insight TVET aims to be an active participant in the wider vocational education and workforce development community — creating opportunities for people to meet, exchange ideas, challenge established thinking and develop new possibilities together.
Our contribution will include:
Forums and roundtables bringing together practitioners, industry, researchers and system leaders around important vocational questions.
Public conversations and seminars exploring emerging ideas, international developments and challenges facing vocational education.
Workshops and practice exchanges where educators and practitioners can share, examine and develop approaches together.
Visiting and international conversations connecting Australian colleagues with practitioners, institutions and system leaders from other vocational systems.
Collaborative inquiry bringing people together around questions that deserve deeper investigation rather than predetermined answers.
Sharing ideas and practice through articles, briefings, resources and other contributions that can stimulate discussion across the sector.
Some activities will be developed by Insight TVET. Others will be hosted with partner organisations or emerge from conversations within our network.
And some will simply create a room — physical or virtual — in which interesting people can think together.
We want Insight TVET to be part of the conversation, but also to help create the places where new conversations can begin.
